A real-time chat room that runs over a WebSocket connection: pick a nickname, pick a room name, and everyone who opens the same room on the same site lands in the same conversation. Messages are broadcast to the whole room and echoed back to the sender so what you see matches what everyone else sees. A room holds up to 20 people; the 21st is politely turned away with a "room full" notice. Outgoing text is parsed before it is displayed: links become clickable, `code` becomes inline code, **bold** becomes bold, @mentions are highlighted, and anything that is valid JSON is pretty-printed underneath the bubble. Everything you type is HTML-escaped first, so markup in a message is shown as text and can never inject script.

1. Type a nickname and a room name — the same room name puts people in the same room.
2. Press "Join chat"; the status pill turns green when the socket is live.
3. Type in the box at the bottom. Enter sends, Shift+Enter inserts a newline.
4. Share the room name with up to 19 other people. The counter shows how many of the 20 seats are taken.
5. Press "Leave" or close the tab to disconnect; the room is told you left.
